Howdy

Welcome to my website.  A little about me:

I’ve grown up surrounded by square dancing, influenced by both my parents and grandparents. I began taking square dance lessons in 2004 with encouragement from my grandmother. Within six months, I stepped up to the microphone and began calling.

Since then, I have become a sought-after caller, calling in 46 states, traveling internationally in Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Japan, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, Sweden, and Taiwan.

I have also been on staff for numerous square dance land and cruise vacations around the world, including the Top of the Line Cruise. Closer to home, I have called for several clubs in Billings, Montana, and helped revive the Checkerboard Squares, the club founded by my grandparents.

I have been a member of CALLERLAB since 2006 and serve on many committees. I was elected in 2023 to serve a three-year term on its Board of Governors beginning in 2024.

In 2007, I attended my first Caller’s School with instructor Scot Byars. In 2008, I attended my second school with instructors Tony Oxendine and Jerry Jestin. In 2009, I was fortunate to receive a week-long, one-on-one training opportunity with Jerry Story and Tony Oxendine at Pride RV Resort in Maggie Valley, North Carolina.

In addition to calling, I have been a recording artist with Royal Records since 2008. I also cue round dancing through Phase IV and released my first choreographed dance in 2019.

I live in Billings, Montana, where I work in funeral home and cemetery management. I serve as a full-time mortician.
